Jim Duncombe
From Fifties-Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly, Surf and
Country to today's brand new Pop Beats, Dance, Latin, Reggae, Funk-Jazz
and even Classic, Jim Duncombe is already a living legend.
Since his debut in 1963 with Jimmy & The Rackets and chart breakers such as »Skinny Minnie«, »Pretend« and »My Soul«, Jim sold over 1 million records. In the Eighties he led SuperCountry to international fame and established a thriving music publishing business in Nashville, USA. As recording engineer he gained gold records for productions of famous stars. Today Jim is the lead guitarist in Switzerland's #1 gala band, The Miriam Dee Band. But Rock 'n' Roll is still alive. Jimmy & The Rackets' excellent musicians drive all generations out of their seats right away. A strong live act with a vast array of wild Rock 'n' Roll and contemporary titels. On stage this walking power pack Jim
instantaneously wins the audience with his charme and British humour. He
deliciously plays even the most complicated
guitar soli with ease. His excellent full
voice complements the high-class bands and if you asked him real

Das Foto ist eine Momentaufnahme eines früheren Jazz Happening, die Musiker sind jedoch beinahe die gleichen. Leider haben die anwesenden Fotografen ihre Bilder noch nicht der interessierten Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Stimmung hätte es verdient, festgehalten zu werden. Jimmy hat eine jazzige Auffassung von einigen bekannten Rock-Nummern gegeben, es rockte und rollte teilweise recht jugendlich. Dies war mit Sicherheit nicht die letzte Nacht dieser Art. Auch die anderen Jazzer neben den oben erwähnten gaben ihr Bestes, John Service trombone wie auf dem Bild oben, Mathylda mit der Mundharmonika, Johny Turi Nagy mit clarinet und Ines sang diesmal in Bb ☺
